Shane Davis has a passion for God and people! He is convinced that the church needs to create environments that make it easy for people to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ. He started Passion Community Church to be a place that accepts and loves people without judgement and helps them become the person God created them to be.

He graduated from Mt. Zion Highschool and received his Bachelor's degree at Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, Illinois. He played four years of baseball and basketball while completing his degree. He became the graduate assistant for the men's basketball team and earned his Master's Degree in Teaching. 

Sensing God's call into full-time Christian Ministry, Shane and his wife Jennifer moved to Louisville, Kentucky to attend the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In Louisville, he also became a teacher and coach at Evangel Christian School.

He became a youth pastor in Marion Illinois, and then in 2002, he became the youth pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Decatur, IL

Shane and Jennifer were married in 1993 and  have 3 children Drew, Alli and Sage. 

Drew is married to Geena and they are currently living in Honolulu, Hawaii. Alli is married to Matthew Carpenter and they live in Bourbonnais, IL. Sage is a junior at Minnesota State-Mankato. 

Jennifer is loving working at Dell's Popcorn. Shane enjoys playing golf and is all the about the Cardinals and Fighting Illini! 

Kristin joined the Passion Team September 5, 2022. 

Both Kristin and her husband Darin are graduates from Mt. Zion Highschool. They are high school sweethearts and have been married since 2000.

They have 3 sons, Ryne-19, Easton-17 and Bo-14. Kristin's passion and love for teaching teenagers began 4 years ago while working as a sexual risk avoidance educator for New Life Pregnancy Center. Kristin and Darin have a strong desire to build relationships not only with teens but also with parents in the church and in the community. 

You will most likely find them at sporting events, show choir competitions and now over in Indianapolis where their oldest son, Ryne, plays football for UIndy! 

Abby has been with Passion since August 1, 2022. She is excited to oversee a thriving Kidz Ministry. Her mission is to provide a fun and safe environment where children will know Christ, understand His word and grow in their personal walk with God. She wants to instill in them a passion for telling others about Jesus. 

She graduated from Nokomis High School in Nokomis, IL and Lincoln Land Community College. 

Abby and Curtis married in 2015 and are raising two young boys, Landon and Grayson.

Curtis is a Decatur Police Officer

Brandon joined the Passion Staff in April 2019. Brandon graduated from Mt. Zion High School and loves serving in his home town. Brandon also works at Decatur Wilbert. 

Brandon and his wife Carle, have been married since 2007 and they have one son, Keegan.  Keegan plays baseball and they all love the St. Louis Cardinals! Brandon's passion for music began in high school when he was a part of the award winning Mt. Zion Swingsations. 

Andrea joined our team in November 2022.

She and her husband, Dustin, married in 2010 and have 7 children. They have 6 boys and one baby girl- Dax (11) Winters (10) Maverick (9) Cannon (8) Indy (5) Preacher (2)  and Sunni Clementine (11 mo.)

They are new to Decatur, they moved here from Stillwater, Oklahoma to be a part of our church. Andrea grew up in Owasso, Oklahoma and moved to Stillwater, OK in 2008 to attend Oklahoma State University. (Go Cowboys!)

Their favorite thing to do is spend time with their kids, whether it's adventuring around, watching their boys play tackle football, or having movie night. 

Andrea is passionate about healthy families, parenting, and maximizing anything she's a part of.
