Shane Davis

Shane Davis has a passion for God and people! He is convinced that the church needs to create environments that make it easy for people to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ. He started Passion Community Church to be a place that accepts and loves people without judgement and helps them become the person God created them to be.
He graduated from Mt. Zion High School and received his Bachelor's degree at Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, Illinois. He played four years of baseball and basketball while completing his degree. He became the graduate assistant for the men's basketball team and earned his Master's Degree in Teaching.
Sensing God's call into full-time Christian Ministry, Shane and his wife Jennifer moved to Louisville, Kentucky to attend the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In Louisville, he also became a teacher and coach at Evangel Christian School.
He became a youth pastor in Marion Illinois, and then in 2002, he became the youth pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Decatur, IL
Shane and Jennifer were married in 1993 and have 3 children Drew, Alli and Sage.
Drew , and wife Geena, have a new son, Miles, and live in Kankakee, IL. Alli, and husband Matthew Carpenter, live in Bourbonnais, IL. Sage currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida.
Shane enjoys exercising at the gym, playing golf, and loves cheering on the STL Cardinals and Fighting Illini!
